A matte painting is a painted representation of a landscape, set, or distant location that allows filmmakers to create the illusion of an environment that is not present at the filming location.



Sight and Sound Art Festival (2012) is a highly dynamic contemporary art festival where several artist (digital and traditional) join togheter to create a whole new experience. For the 2012 Festival I have design this big matte painting  (200x100 cm) based on the picture below.

Within the project to celebrate the 150th year of the founding of the Italian Republic, 150 artists were selected and have been called upon to interpret the future. The project "Torino 2161" is based by a photography of Manuela Gomèz. Alessandra Clerici imagining new housing molecules and realized the 3D design. Digital Matte Painting by me. The project appear in various Art Magazine and it's exposed at Artissima 2011*.  *Artissima is the leading contemporary art fair in Italy.



December 26, 2004 Tsunami in Sri Lanka shocked the world. The following night I dreamed of a similar event in various cities of the world and tried to imagine how it would have been if it had happened in Europe. I realized three works, one of these is related to Paris.
